Session Highlights/notes

-Battled a warparty from Is led by Emmisary Volkir. They were to seek repayment for the slaying of Dallon Black, who was apparently the brother of some northern warlord.
-Recaptured the town’s liquor supply and opened the road between Red Rock and Galadale.
-Captured and enslaved (right word?) one of the warriors from Is. His name is Kern. His current job is carrying a sunrod and supplies for the TC.

-Found and mined nearly 100 pounds of strange crimson/black ore.
-Battled a host of undead miners led by two terrifying foreman.
-Met the battlefield objective and kept the foreman from being adjacent to each other.
-Discovered traces of people having passed through the mine recently.

Session Highlights/notes

-Taraline revealed that she is disobeying orders given to her by the Lustrator command in Galadale. She was told to give over her life’s work to the Lustrators and abandon her quest to find the lost city of Azamaan Daoom. The TC surprised her by agreeing to forge ahead and help her find the city and answer her yet unannounced questions about the place.
-Descended into the depths beyond the mine and came across a tunnel ending in strange glowing light. The Marshall detected that a great magical event occurred in the area a long time ago and the entire region pulses with remnant energy.
-Battled a Lustrator ambush including a Shadowblade, whose movements seemed out of time and only half rooted in this world.

Session Highlights/notes

-Arrived at the gates of Azamaan Daoom. The gates showed signs of being blasted to pieces by a great magical power.
-Triggered an ancient defense system and battle mechanical sentries that were infused with waning divine energy.
-Heard a voice alarm that spoke in an ancient language which Taraline believes to be Zithin. The alarm said :Deerim Ambadach Mossstoun Strazza-Malastrazza-Dema-Undema. Some of the words are similar to words found in the dwarven/stormcrown lexicon. The following translation was achieved via the join efforts of the Marshall and Urin: Fiends in clever guise retreat, fiends, face your god’s runes, runework.
-The city of Azamaan Daoom appears to be an ancient dwarven place.
-The Marshall discovered that he alarm system had been tampered with, likely by the Lustrators in an attempt to slow your progress. Meepo and Stasi and the Marshal made short work of the mechanical aspect of the system, ensuring it would not be activated again.

Session Highlights/notes

-Tanu, a Fen-Rider drawn to Azamaan Daoom for his own reasons, joined forces with the Twilight Company with the purpose of exploring the ruined city. Tanu proved loyal in battle and earns the respect of the rightfully suspicious mercenaries.
-The city is ruined and cast into a powerful darkness. Light weakens under the weight of the shadows here; the darkness originating from some unseen source. The Marshal was able to detect the unnatural shadow emanated from some fixed point somewhere in the ruins.
-Small, menacing creatures lurk in the shadows. They would not enter the limited light of the TC’s sunrod but gnashed their teeth when the light was extinguised.
-Chased to the top of a tower, the TC battled more of the city’s ancient clockworx sentries and eventually deciphered the runestone atop the tower, destroying the remaining clockworx attackers and turning on lights below in the ruins…
